Can you guess the correct year?
1958-1962 C1 Corvettes were similar in appearance with subtle differences to make each year uniquely its own. We know that 1958-1960 all had the heavy chrome "Tooth" grill which went away for 1961. Also, the rear body styling changed in 1961 from the rounder, single tail light rear, to the "Duck Tail" rear with quad tail lights (faintly distinguishable in the photo above by the tapered rear quarter panel).
Body color painted headlight trim bezels appeared on the 1961 & 1962 models in contrast to the chrome pieces previously found on the '58-'60 models. But also notice the Crossed Flags emblem on the nose does not have a chrome ring around it like the 1962 model year.
The correct answer is: 1961
